nextgentrucker and bryan21384 Thank this. -
•. Am I "captain of the ship" there -- or just "meat in the seat"?

• How much advance notice is required for scheduled time off? Two weeks? More? Or less?
• Is all dispatch forced?
• What is your detention pay? How soon does it start -- immediately? After 1 hours? 2 hours?
• (If CPM pay) is cpm paid zip code to zip code? Or address to address?
•. What is your breakdown pay? How soon does it start -- immediately? After 1 hours? 2 hours?
•. What are my fuel options? Pilot/Flying J only? Loves only? Somewhere else? All of the above?nextgentrucker and BrothaTrucka513 Thank this. -
The only thing that matters to me is the freight lanes and the equipment. Also, do they have customers or do they operate using broker freight? Where I am now, I got sold on the maintenance department. They have us go through the inspection bay every time we come to the yard, and trucks and trailers get repaired on the spot. I find our maintenance department to be the most valuable part of this company, because a functional truck and trailer is needed to do anything else.
nextgentrucker, Chinatown, rollin coal and 3 others Thank this. -
Can i have 3 dogs and 10 cats on the truck with me?
nextgentrucker and Puppage Thank this. -
Recruiters don't know any details of the company. The answer to every question will be "I'll have to find out about that and get back to you." Then the next time they contact you they will have more reasons why you should already be working at the company and they forgot to get an answer to the last question. Wash, rinse, repeat.
TurkeyCreekJackJohnson and nextgentrucker Thank this. -
"Do you have a driver facing camera?"
Warrior Pump, nextgentrucker, tscottme and 1 other person Thank this. -
