No they don't. If anything they could be a little better at weeding out the bad instructors and trainers.
We can drag up your situation. I remember it. however you're not gonna like my personal analysis. So, I'll bite my tongue now, as I did then.

No need to bite your tongue, she came in before the EEOC settlement.... I was training my niece the same time you were there.......

I remember it quite well, and my thread is still here. I still say, as I did then, that there are problems with the PSD/TnT model as implemented by Prime. (Well, at least how it was implemented a year ago.) If there's a backlog of PSD students waiting for instructors, and there are TnT trainers needing students, the PSD instructors should hand off their students for TnT.
I know that it's a money issue. I've talked to a LOT of instructors while their students were being tested. PSD instructors should make as much, if not more, per week as a TnT trainer.
My last post in that thread, nearly a year ago, pointed the finger squarely at the lack of PSD instructors:
If you have knowledge of Prime's policy that indicates I'm incorrect, please let me know. -
I have a quick question, Ms. Jamie. If your truck doesn't say prime on it then why are you always in the prime forum, Just curious,
Oh yeah, I don't keep my PSD'S. I always pass of to an instructor -
Because the plan is (always has been) to come back to Prime as an experienced driver. I happened to land a dedicated position that pays slightly better than Prime's national lightweight rate, but the lack of an APU this summer may be what I need to make the move.
As you can tell by my post count, I've been active on TTR, mostly in my current company's area. Other than in the past couple of weeks, I haven't posted in the Prime section for months. -
Sounds like it is time to get back here

I'm with you on that one. However, we recently had a DM that quit and poached several drivers, so we are short handed. The management on this account has been good to me, so I can't walk out on them right now with a clear conscience. I'll finish out my year with this company, then evaluate my options.
Besides, by the time July rolls around, the lack of an APU may make my decision a bit easier...
