did your husband get a call yet? it's been 2 weeks today and I'm still waiting myself for some good news. wondering if u got any yet.

They are probably trying to get an orientation class together. While your husbands checks may have come back quickly, some do not.

I know it is hard to wait. The process seems to be so much more streamlined from when Rick did it. That was a little over 4 years ago. He applied the 3rd week of August, and started orientation in December.

 

FINALLY got a call today! Whew! His orientation starts March 13!

Welcome aboard. I'm kinda surprised at that start date, as that is in the middle of our pay period.

 

That I do not know about. They called last week actually needing to dot a couple i's and cross a couple t's, and whoever he talked to said she was trying to get it all finalized so she could get him in March 13 orientation. And when they called back today with the final offer that was date given again. So when do pay periods run?

 

every 2 weeks, starting with this coming week.

 

Hello, I decided to post on here because my nerves are shot waiting to hear something!! My husband just applied about 6 days ago for a Shelby, NC opening. We are so anxiously waiting to get a call or something. We have been waiting for an opening to come out of this location. My husband really wants to get this job, and so do I. He must have been the first to apply because we had been watching the site everyday, several times a day! Hopefully we will hear good news soon........ site says under consideration -- is that a good sign?

 

Yes it is. Relax. Understand that nothing moves quickly when it comes to getting hired by Walmart.

Believe me, I know where you are. I was there 4.5 years ago................. and back then it took even longer.
