I think the part where you said you were going to Swift then will start looking for another job after that is what triggered the job hopping police. There's more.factors to look at other than just hopping jobs.
1st thing is, if you're gonna do it, so long as you've got the new job then their ain't nothing to worry about. If you do it 2-3 times then get fired/laid off then it may be harder to land a job then. I had 3 jobs in 1.5 years and landed the job I'm at now and am happy. 1st was USA, then USXpress, then went to oil fields working for a buddy. Working for him didn't work out, and I was stuck looking for a job. I was worried because I'd heard all the same things these guys are preaching. The main thing that made it bad was, waiting for a job instead of already having one.
As far as Swift, just read all the threads here. Read them about every company and then decide what you want. I wouldn't go there, but some people don't like where I work, and I don't like other companies I worked for. So basically its all up to what you decide. Good luck, but just don't plan to hop around. Moving to better yourself is good....but you've eventually got to better plan your job searching or it will get harder if you do move jobs to much.
