You just have to be careful of the Orange Koolaid , Schneider will work hard on indoctrinating into thinking Schneiders way is the only way.
    Tons of propaganda.

I'm due to start SNI next week with their refresher/1200 dollar contract but I've been offered a job at Walmart starting at 13 dollars an hour. Don't know what to do.

$700 a week stocking shelves or $1200 in a truck with a high likelyhood of eraning more in the future . I'd chose the truck

I just talk to a recruiter about tanker. They told me I needed a refresher and then to corp , PA. For tanker training 4 to 5 weeks? No mention of 1200 a week , but had to end convo before all questions answered. They mentioned a signing bonus but not at what payments it would be payed out?

No kidding... At least in this business you have a means to go to the next level And make more money depending on what you wanna do.. While stocking shelves is a complete dead end job..

I doubt I will make 1200 a week trucking until at least my 2-3 year mark. Unless I really want to push myself the first year. SNI offer a refresher but you sign a contract. If you leave before 3 months you pay it all back. Walmart is a dead end job but I'm thinking of taking it to save up and move before starting trucking. Yea it's a dead end job but the goal is to have the extra free time after work to do hobbies. Can't do that trucking.

$700 a week stocking shelves is really good money.
I have been a retail clerk at my company for 11 years, (since 2007), and earn $10.64 an hour, which is $425.60 for a 40 hour week.
FORTUNATELY & THANKFULLY, I do have medical, dental, vision, short term disability, and a 401(K) plan that my employer matches dollar for dollar up to 4% of my gross pay.
Also, FORTUNATELY & THANKFULLY, I do get overtime from time to time.

If I could pass a D.O.T. physical, I would liked to have gone to a truck driving school and gotten hired onto an OTR trucking company going to all 48 states and Canada.

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!
