    That's a bit over the top, don't you think? I just put a couple of rocks on either side. That was the recommendation from a guy at the steel mill, "Everyone does it like that"!

    Funny thing is I haven't seen any "Rock and Roll" drivers.

    Do you think that guy was spoofing me?

    Reminds me of the guy who pulled up with a curtain side to grab some coils while I was getting some eye to the sky skidded coils in Kentucky. He was making fun of me for edge protecting my straps and for using 3 on every coil. Then he made fun of me for putting trip chains in front and back of the load. But let me just say... that load arrived in exactly the same shape and position that it was loaded in California.
