quick observation

Anyone exceeding the 2 cat limit is nuts. Seriously, cats are evil enough. 2 cats is just asking for trouble. 3 or more cats, makes you a "Cat Whack-O". But hey, if you ever die of a heart attack, and they don't find you for a few days, the cats will eat you, and lower the cost of your burial.

 

Local isn't as bad as some of these steering wheel holders claim. Its not for everyone but neither is being in shape and working. And for the comment by someone who said there's no money in local is out of their mind. It all depends on the job you get. Some suck and aren't worth the hard work and long hours you will put in but there are many that pay great and don't require back breaking work. Just put in your time otr and you can get something good at home

Amen! I work local. 5 days a week and clear no less than a grand a week. Sometimes more.

 

Exactly! And its a complete 2 days off not just 34 hours. And I'm pissed if I make less than a grand lol. I have high expectations lol.

 

Couldnt pay me enough to go OTR. just the thought repulses me..kudos to you guys can do it. Dealing with half the crap Ive seen/heard. When I was city P/d I hadto deal with some places who made it seem like you were a bother to deliver their freight..Receivers who want you to blow them to take their crap..No way...Ill stick to pulling doubles and working the dock.
Local isnt for everyone though.
