Quick question

Low pay. Not getting home. Tired all the time. Wife complaining about debt collectors calling. Democrat in DC. Kids school work is bad. Driver always worried about Jody slipping in the back door. Health not good because lack of exercise. Truck governed less than the posted speed limit. Dispatcher bellyaching because your not at the destination. Truck is filthy but it's a 2 hour wait to get it washed. The only place to shower is a sinking ### truck stop. Child support taking most of your paycheck.

 

Geez sure am glad that not every truck driver is the LOSER you just described.

 

Companies,the laws,low pay,DOT,society,poor equipment the list is endless why drivers are jerks to one another.You gave quite a few reasons poster.

 

The list is potentially endless, maybe the better question would be - how each driver could improve his/her practices to help improve the industry reputation.

I have seen drivers in NEW top of the line equipment, getting good $ + all the benefits and they still sulk around like they are mad at the world and look like pigs.

 

I know FedEx drivers drive like they are mad at the world. It's not rare to see 100+ grand $$ paychecks over there but they keep getting jerked around by management. Imagine making 60 cents a mile just driving 8 hours a day and going home at 3pm. Then management let's you know you'll be working the dock in the morning and evening getting a shorter run with dock time and still making great money but it just ain't the same

 

Quick question, why is there an insect crawling around on the bottom of your screen?

if we could get outlaw sweatpants and pissbottles we might stand half a chance....
