I'd thank this 10 times if I could. Couldn't agree more.

If the GW is fubar'd, you can bet your ### the Tapan Zee will be also. You either hit the Apple at the right time or you don't. And the really bad traffic doesn't get started until you hit about the 7mm in CT.

FWIW, I used to run up and down through there all the frickin time. Ran the GWB 99% of the time regardless of the time of day.

Ya, I'd still say go around 287-684-84-290-495-95 you'll miss not only NYC, but also Bridgeport CT ( “I’ll have you know that Bridgeport is among the world leaders in abandoned buildings, shattered glass, boarded up windows, wild dogs and gas stations without pumps.”) you'll make better time less congestion

I still chuckle like a moron everytime I see the signs. It used to be Mayamus. Couldn't tell you why the heck they changed it but I'm sure glad they did.

When ever I went thru I always had the inadvertent thought 'There's a big blue truck in Mianus'.... Then I start thinking of other things that could possibly be in Mianus.

Lotsa stuff fits in Mianus.... It's a happenin' place.

    Lol.
