How's you reception on that satellite radio antenna? Seems like it would not get a good signal back there.
-
LB - it actually gets really great reception mounted there....I was pretty leary about it myself...was originally going to mount it at the very top where the old QC sat. goes... But XM ant. cord was going to be too short...I had just enough cord to run it where its mounted now!! But everything is good with it!L.B. Thanks this.

Well decided to stop anf get a new antenna, got the k40+ from pilot, came out to $20 with coax and mount after i cashed in points. After i got it hooked up on grab handle close to where whitey did i realised i still wasnt getting any range or clarity. A frustrated me then decided to stop at the ta on 127 and 70 in eaton to get whip matched and tuned to radio. Et in there and the guy kinda gives me the go away kid look when i tell him whay i want. He then looks at my radio and and says wow havent seen 1 this old in a lomg time. Told him what was done to it and he says he can make it better. And did he ever. I talked to a base in eaton for the better part of the drive back to trenton. Total at the end of the day? $40 for everything. He also told me my antena needs to be mounted on left side of truck since thats the side i pass traffic on. So will get that done soon. Highly reccomend this guy. General lee is now pushi 100+ watta
