I have quit without notice on 2 separate occassions with Swift and Knight out of Phoenix. I was under load each time, but I parked it at a company terminal and sent the message. The loads were to be delivered locally within 36 hours, plenty of time to repower.

None of them put abandonment on my DAC, but they did put, " Not Eligible For Rehire ".

So now I cannot work for them, probably forever. I feel so bad about it too!

    Lepton1 and bzinger Thank this.

Omaha is about as far east as I will go. New Yuck---I don't care how good the money is, to me it is not worth the headache, neither are any of the New England states.
I have quit without notice when the company was dishonest about paying wages. There are a lot of crooks in the trucking business.

Started to write a response to this with some questions, but if you don't know, or don't understand the kind of person you are, nothing that I can say will change it. Hopefully your new local company is aware of how dedicated you are, and treats you accordingly.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.
