I think Old Dominion Freight Lines has a terminal in Gulfport. They hire new cdl grads.
Several courier companies in Gulfport and close by. Google shows 10 courier companies in or around Gulfport.

I have to weigh in here and I do not mean to sound condescending at all.

How old are you? I guess early mid 20's.
OTR aside, do you like driving a truck in general? If the answer is yes, then stick it out. Suck it up and be mature and think of the long game of life. If you stick this out and stay clean on your MVR you will have the world in front of you. You have your CDLA. Don't waste it. You went thru the whole process of training and obtaining it. Tens of thousands of posts on here tell everyone that the first year can suck and will suck sometimes. That can be true in many jobs.

What made you decide to become a driver?

Ask yourself the true reason why you want to bail.

Did you get your CDL thru Prime or an outside school? If outside you have little to gamble.

Look at the ramifications of you leaving. You will owe Prime anywhere from 4 to 6000 for school and they will go after you for it, aggressively.

Like I said, I am not trying to sound condescending but you truly need to think about the ramifications.

If i am off base here, sorry.

    Good luck in your decision

I have to ask why did you go OTR in the first place? Perhaps all you need is to work for a different company if your based in or near Utah try out LW Miller their pretty decent and give people a go. If you've signed a contract to get driver training and licencing you'd still be legally bound to pay back any remaining dues.
