Just DO NOT pick up a load and then drop the truck off with them. Make sure it's empty! If you get a load, deliver it. It's not the customers fault that you two aren't getting along and they don't deserve to suffer for it. I personally would give plenty of notice, if they kick you out they kick you out but at least you know you tried to be an adult about it and do the right thing. Your dac won't get ####ed up because you delivered your last load and gave them notice before dropping the truck where they wanted.

Fill your tanks with fuel before you give notice if intend on dropping it off. Sometimes companies shut your card off pronto and there you are. No longer a employee with 10 gallons in tanks unable to do anything.

Hope you chose wisely for a new company, so you're not in another mess soon.

I spoke to another Western Express driver trainer that is looking for another company and they said that the Ashland Terminal is unsecured. So, I will turn the truck in at Nashville.

Contact Western Express on your Qualcom and say "you're resigning; where do you want the truck returned? Let me know ASAP."
That's all the notice you need to give.
Try to print or take screenshot of your last 8 days of logs and of your messages concerning resigning.
If you can't get a copy of the logs; don't sweat it. Just get to work with your new company and they'll know how to deal with it.

That's good. Otherwise every time you hear Blue Moon over Kentucky you would think of WE...

I was referred to them by one of their reefer lease purchase drivers. I looked em up online and they had mostly favorable reviews. There were some negative reviews but they seemed to come from people who think they deserve the best without working for it. I told my mom about this and she wasn't very happy. She said I needed to stay here for at least a year so I can get some job stability. I told her that if she saw for herself the crap I go through with Western Express, she would sing a different time. Anyway, I am considering lease purchase with Henderson. I know how to make good fuel mileage. I had a 43000 pound load going from Illinois to Kenansville NC and I averaged around 8 mpg even going through West Virginia. While I was heading to pick up that load, I was running as fast i could while empty and then kept my speed to about 62 or 63 mph after I got loaded unless the speed limit was less.

Drivers who unwisely quit without a orientation flight ticket in hand or whatever it is... no wonder they sit and cry #### on the rain... It's on them.

YOU on the other hand have a golden ticket as it were, good luck in your new company.
