    I may sound crazy but I would write your terminal manager thanking him or her for employing you and the skills you learned. also request that you be rehireable should you return to Swift if you followed the advice given by the members. It may seem like "no this will never happen" but returning could be possible. if your dm gives you a survey before you leave, answer it in all honesty. Simply put your thoughts on whats good and what could be improved in a positive manner.

    Well, I did it. My DM wanted to talk to me anyway so I told him in person, got it cleaned out, and turned in the keys today. Cleaned it out as best I could. Told him I just wasn't getting home enough, and he said that's why he's a DM and not a driver, so he understands. He even got me a ride home on another truck instead of making me buy a bus ticket. I might actually go back if I can't get anything else, but I'd try for their heavy haul fleet instead of just normal fleet.
