Welcome aboard, you are going to get a mixed response here. 1st, the old saying is true, "once a burnout, always a burnout", and today, if you even have to ask, you are presumed guilty. 2nd, hair testing is incredibly expensive, and not 100% correct, I think, and hair testing can detect up to 90 days, but most still go with urine. Naturally, coming from Colorado, I may have a slighted view on that( the taxes collected pays for a lot for me) and until some sort of test that can show how long it's been since smoking, just have to fall between the cracks, and it can be done, just not advisable today. We get this topic a lot, so don't feel weird if someone bashes you for that, like it or not, it, weed, is becoming widely accepted in our society today, just not in trucking. Good luck, if it's been over a month, I wouldn't worry,,,,until the next time, that is:biggrin_25524:

They DO NOT test for any drugs or alcohol. You can do meth, coke, mexican speedballs, reds, ludes, crack, junk, PCP, weed, booze, black beauties, disco ####tails yellow jackets, LSD etc. No worries and good luck to you!

We've got a few philosophers on the forum that get off on preaching, I guess it's the cathartic release. LOL  People can definitely change for sure. Maybe get a friend to call the company and ask what kind of drug test they have you do. I've noticed companies that do hair follicle usually like to state that upfront. Congratulations on quitting.

Weed is not fentanyl, it's an IQ test. The regulation exist, they haven't changed in years and nobody's opinion about the regulations change the regulations. It's a pass/fail test. Make good choices.

See, the thing is, it may as well be fentanyl or heroin, as said, it's pass/fail system and not bloody likely to change anytime soon. I read, the trucking industry has a 99% negative results rating, and can't let their guard down now. Discontinuing drug testing, would open the floodgates for burnouts, as it will be the 80s all over again. An ESTIMATED ( you might be surprised who visits those places, late at night) 17.7 million people use pot on a daily basis, beating out alcohol at 14.2 million, and that's just the people we see. We have 3 MJ dispensaries in my little town, and the other day, I saw'r one of those goofy Tesla cybertrucks, cost, what $70,000, parked at one, so it's not the beat up VW bus anymore. Good luck, like I say, there are plenty of industries that are pot compliant, and when I say once a burnout,,,history has shown, even though you "quit", if times get tough, you know what can relieve that. To someone that never tried weed, it's simply not an option. One study says, between 60 and 80% of people that quit, usually relapse within a year. And no, I'm with you, for the record, it's NOT fentanyl or heroin.

You beat me to it....I was going to give the same advice. I'd call from another number, a burner number.
