I run step deck my average miles per week is 2500-2800 miles a week. Been here about 8 months now. West definitely keeps you moving. If you’re interested let me know. I tried the TMC way and honestly you’re better off with west a lot better training program and half the time

Hey Chaos- Not yet. They are doing the background check as we speak. I already have my permit, my next step is drug/physical after background.

I do have one questions for those that did/have attended the training- what was living in the house like?

Cam - Thanks for your post on here,. Your feedback was a big influence on my decision to go to R.E west. I have decided on Dry Van, due to being away from home longer. I don't need to be home every weekend.

Can you confirm the classroom training is only 2 weeks?

    Thanks again Sir!

That’d be a question for @A.cam i believe he stayed there. I live fairly close so I went home each night.

I'm in White House all the time! My buddy lives there and we go to De La Paz somewhat frequently. They're building WAY too many apartments in that area though. This is all real good information and I appreciate it. Also, sorry to hear about your medical situation but happy to hear you're doing well as it sounded very serious.

I'm not one to subscribe to YouTube channels usually but I did yours and made it through half the videos so far and they're great to watch. I'm hooked, keep it up man! I'll message you if I think of something else to ask.

Living in the bunk house ain't bad. Depends on how busy they are with new hires as to if ur bunked with another driver in ur room or not. I started out with one in my room with me and within a day he was gone as he finished up his orientation. Follow the rules and clean up after urself and it is a fine experience. Plenty of food within walking distance and they do have company cars if you ask. The training is only 2 weeks. Sink or swim, but they do give you the tools u need to pass training. Pay attention, and PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE. Seems like the pretrip is what gets everyone. Lol. Good luck to ya. Keep us posted how it goes for ya.

Thanks Super, that's the info I was looking for.i have a tentative start date of the 19th. Background is cleared, I take drug test & physical on Tuesday. They sent me a packet via FedEx which has the verbiage needed during pretrip. I think it's smart of them to do that. Everything so far seems they are setting you up to pass. I know videos on YouTube with the pretrip for those that want a visual of it. My week at Maverick I had some practice, and as you stated the pretrip seems to get the ones who fail.

I will definitely keep posting on here as make progress through the school. Amazing support and knowledge on the site and thread.

Are you still with West? How's is it going?
