Me and my wife might start working in a few weeks team driving from kennesaw Georgia. Has work been busy this year? Do you enjoy working at rl carriers? -

I worked at R&L about 10 years ago. 6 breakdowns my last 5 weeks was the last straw. There were plenty before that including once I left the yard and the converter they had my set hooked to bearings went and 3 miles down the road the whole axle was glowing like it was just cast. Called dispatch, "can you bring it back to the yard?" "if I could, I wouldnt be talking to you". 3 hours later a wrecker shows up with another converter. That dolly is STILL to this day sitting in the yard in La Crosse, you can see it from the freeway. I wouldnt recommend them.

I had no issues. Most the fleet was new. I ran team though. I left for local job. My buddy has been with them 6 years out of Norwalk OH as a linehaul guy -
How was teaming with rl carriers did you get good miles? What did you net on average if you had too guess? Glad you had a good experience.. i hear there very good if your team driving but linehaul solo and p&d i cant speak on never done it but that seems too be where most the complaints come from since they get the older sleeper cab trucks so they probably do break down often id imagine.. im not trying to switch companies again this is the last straw.
I would have went with estes or old dominion but they dont allow pets we have a cat.. they seem way more organized then fedex ground where i came from and they seem too have the work. No company is perfect..
Im working on other investment opportunities so im trying to retire from trucking in 2-4yrs so ill stick it out time goes by fast anyways. I just need a consistent paycheck thats all..
I just want too do my job get paid and get home as quickly as possible every week..
