Anyone want to tell me what working for R&L is like? I’ll be driving a sleeper rig. One week out, and a full 48 off every weekend. Very excited, it’s just what I want. Been looking for 2 months now

I dont work for R+L, nor do I know much about them. But out of curiosity are you running team or solo?

They just got a raise. I believe all team runs pay a minimum of 2k a week and you start at top pay. Some terminals have sign on bonus and trucks run 70 or 72.

It’s ok. I ran team. Talked with a few solo sleepers. They tried to shoot for $2k week but sometimes would fall short. $1700+ though. Terminal are farther apart so sometimes you can’t bang out a big day. They will keep you running though. Benefits are pretty good. Trucks are all newer. I believe how they did it was teams got new you get old team truck. Most of them were in a Pete a few years old only. The log is the bull #### part. I had to unplug the senor to go bobtail to get something to eat because it would knock you to drive. Was no off duty Pc option.

They are a laid back place I guess depending on your terminal. But vs anything otr you can’t beat them. But if home daily is your goal the only negative is they are on low side of what other LTL pay. But I only quit to come off the road.

I have a buddy in Norwalk terminal going on 6 years there

Is their solo OTR pay similar to their daily linehaul pay?

It might be good for someone coming from OTR but most drivers can do $2k weekly on their own and sleep in their bed everyday.

Thanks so much! The terminal is only abt 6 miles from my house.
That’s no good that you can’t go on PC! Do you remember what brand of ELD they use?

Their pay is weird. You get paid per run. It’s like a formula they use. I used to know how to calculate it but I forgot. Drop and hook and fuel pay is “figured in” is what they say. Shorter runs pay high than longer if you figure it out per mile.
