Agreed... Although I thought they should be awake before I went into a training program, I quickly realized that as long as they are awake prior to doing something new or difficult, who cares... Honestly, 90% of the time I was training we were going forward on an interstate...

So what? Newbie driver gets time under his/her belt with an experience driver in the truck, if needed, while the company runs a training program that is economically sound and benefits all. Win/Win

It's funny to read some of the responses in this thread. It seems that people do not want to see owners get rich off of their work. Yeah some of them are greedy but you don't have to work for them.

If you do not like seeing someone get rich off of your labors, stick your own financial neck on the chopping block then. What is the use of pissing and moaning? You don't like how you are treated or compensated then you are free to find something else.

Men used to work this industry and it is slowly being sissified, and at a faster rate than before. Before you start whining and complaining, think about how your ancestors and how they had to survive. I am talking about great grandparents and beyond. My great grandmother crossed this country in 1900 in a covered wagon. You never heard that woman complain about anything. Now we just have a bunch of hankie waving #######.

 

I've never understood the Jew thing either. Doesn't make sense at all.
