This guy has terrible equipment he lied about giving me my last check said he would pay me then come payday refused to pay me. His company has a terrible safety rating 90% pull in. Steer clear of this company.

That's not a whole lot of information about said "terrible company" Location? Names? Places? People"? Pics? "Care to elaborate?"
TB John and bryan21384 Thank this. -
I'd like to add....how did you get conned into working for a company with a 90 percent pull in rate? Most guys would prefer a 90 percent pull out rate......
Trucker61016 and Lonesome Thank this. -

Which one is this? There are four that have dealings within the USA: one in Mexico (freight forwarder), another in the West Suburbs of...you guessed it...Chicago, the third in Overland Kansas, and The last is in Florida. There is one in India, but we won't count that since you were obviously not in India.
I'm guessing Chicago. Further guess, misclassified as 1099. And still one last guess, forced Lease. Did the owner sound, shall we say, not Chicago? Did they actually utilize their very own freight brokerage, too? If so...this is on you. Why?
This is their address: 2937 N 77th Ave, Elmwood Park, IL 60707
This is the "office": Google Maps
Brokerage is at the same address.
And this their SAFER report: SAFER Web - Company Snapshot RAD LOGISTICS SOLUTIONS INC
You say 90% pull in rate. Well, that's to be expected with a tiny fleet of one obviously pre-owned rig. The SAFER report has him standing at ZERO violations, no OOS (including you, the driver), and zero tows or accidents. Not exactly a terrible rating - but that's just my opinion, of course. This data is good as of 8/25/2025, but it looks like he began business in February 2025. Still, seven months is a long time to be pulled in and have no issues.
ON PAPER, this looks like an okay company (unless 1099 and forced lease). YOU thus sound like a nightmare employee. This is, of course, based on the very limited info provided by the Net and you. Give us the full story. Did you quit without notice and under a load? Were you fired? Why'd he keep your final check? He must have a reason. Did you damage the rig somehow? Did he have to spend a few hundred dollars getting his one and only rig cleaned due to your negligence? Did you make too many demands until he was no longer willing to work with your requests? Was it a 1099 and forced Lease, thus all costs came out before you get paid? Did you demand to be home each and every weekend AFTER being hired (with only one rig, he cannot do that)?
Did I get this all wrong? Tell us, please.Last edited: Oct 4, 2025
