That's a great point. Now, for me , a full disclosure.
I still use mine (V1) and I do NOT speed... any longer. Slowed down years ago, but it still helps in Cali. (I have a difficult time w 55)
That may sound crazy to most, but I'm used to the "comfort" of having it.
Knowing a Tango is near.. that traffic could jam up.. that I could be needing to change lanes.
So, in essence, it's still used as an early warning system for me. Just not in the classic sense.

    Not mine, Tuck.
I have mine tuned to eliminate traffic monitoring systems and collision avoidance systems.
Until I did.. it drove me nuts.
I took about a year and studied LEO patterns and radar habits, then made my adjustments.
Now, it's very quiet unless the threat is REAL.
    If it barks.. believe it
    Still has phenomenal sensitivity.

I got nailed with one in Paynesville, MN in 2002. The Fuzz detected it. Cost me $185, but he gave it back and made me put it in the side box. Hauling cows at the time........I think you all know where I'm going with that, LOL!
