I still use mine (V1) and I do NOT speed... any longer. Slowed down years ago, but it still helps in Cali. (I have a difficult time w 55)
That may sound crazy to most, but I'm used to the "comfort" of having it.
Knowing a Tango is near.. that traffic could jam up.. that I could be needing to change lanes.

I have ran a bird dog from day 1. a #### good one is expensive but worth every dime.

Well bird dog or no bird dog I drive 10 miles an hour under the limit just to piss people off

I have mine tuned to eliminate traffic monitoring systems and collision avoidance systems.
Until I did.. it drove me nuts.
I took about a year and studied LEO patterns and radar habits, then made my adjustments.
Now, it's very quiet unless the threat is REAL.
If it barks.. believe it

Its funny how they are illegal in CMVs, but sell them in truck stops, oops I meant travel centers.

I know some of these newer cars will set off K band on some radar detectors, and one some luxury cars will set off LASER

I got nailed with one in Paynesville, MN in 2002. The Fuzz detected it. Cost me $185, but he gave it back and made me put it in the side box. Hauling cows at the time........I think you all know where I'm going with that, LOL!
