Did they reach a final exact diagnosis for the root cause of the problem you were having?

    I'm curious.

If not? Please don't get offended if I ask you if they threw parts at it until the truck quit having problems?

Ive been following this very carefully word for word but I gotta wonder and then ask.

The old radiator was rusted out AND one of the thermostats wasn't opening fully. I changed both though.

Seems whomever installed the old thermostats damaged one (also damaged part of the housing, but we fixed that).

    Thank you kindly.

I love it when the shop fixes something right quick and proper. It's awesome.

And that right there is completely UNACCEPTABLE in my eyes..........

You lost 9 days of business PLUS the $2500 in something that should have cost under $900 for all that.

Lesson learned here...next Time Seek out Good advice from us on here..Nobody else will Ever care about your Time Lost and Monies spent foolishly.

it aggravates me when I see my Fellow drivers Get Taken advantage of Like this.

Keep in mind that any kind of losses when applied to P/E the following week, the following remainder of this month, the following quarter which now has to be readjusted for losses you can never ever get back again...

The money's gone. Along with the time. That's gone too. What now? I say that it is my hope enternal you now have a truck that's fixed proper you might perhaps enjoy a period of time of quite a few months of hard running this year before the onset of winter. You still have quite a bit left in the year to run on yet. A careful selection of the loads and planning to say run in the deep south, like I-10 along the Gulf Coast like we did in our time during winters what otherwise shut down our poor Yankee Bretheran in 3 feet of snow every other day. All we had was rain and lots of loads everywhere we turned supporting the drill rigs, pipe one way, and chain, cables the other to the mills that made the piples going back east to the plants making chains and cable needed back west by the mills in texas. Whoo hoo gravy time. Let's see it rain!

Went to Toth automotive in person (it's only 5 min from our yard), they quoted me $678 for the water pump.

Are you talking about a C15 water pump or C-15 ACCERT water pump?
