See, there it is........................ why did you have to call him names?? Really??
At my X employer, sometimes my checks were more than yours...................... sometimes a lot more. However, I know what it was like to get that. I also had a year that I made more at my X than I will make here, this year. Ask me if I regret anything. Well, you don't need to bother, as I am sure you already know the answer.
There is more than just money, and I know more of that will come. It is the work environment that is worth so much more than a paycheck.

Money is important but more important to me is the way your treated here. They treat is like kings its the complete package here.

Blindmman Thanks this. -
I cant complain about a $1700 take home paycheck for the week as a company driver and I'm sure that whatever Walmart had to offer will still be there somewhere down the road.

its more than what I made when I was a company slave

It is def more than JUST the money here. I have set home time every week. I have respect not only from other drivers here but as well as the office staff. Being home everyday has its advantages. I'm not here for just me anymore. Its about what I am doing to make my families life better. I am glad your happy where you are! I hope in the long run it lasts for you too.
Lol I had to laugh at your pic though. Knight is still running those older qcomm units too. I def like the newer ones Wal~mart and other companies are using now. -
It would depend on where and when you hired in...an expanding or new terminal or a terminal where many old hands are retiring would afford you little time before you worked up to full time. They are switching to programs where three drivers are assigned to two trucks in different days on and off. When you interview and are accepted they will give you a pretty accurate timeline when you can bid on a truck or position and get it. I know of one terminal where th newbies worked for three and a half years before moving up yet some where the new hires were full time in six months. Just ask them...no secret.Blindmman Thanks this.

My QC might not have any games built in to keep me amused like the Walmart QC's do but it gets the job done and allows me to check up on my $1700 paychecks. I think some of you would be willing to work for a little of nothing to be able to wear a Walmart uniform.

May I ask why you applied in the first place? Why did you take the time to submit the application and go for the interview? You seen awfully bitter for some reason. Fail the road test? Get a ticket? I mean, nobody gets to that point just for giggles and grins. You applied, SAID you got to the 2nd interview...and if you didn't like what was being offered, what would cause so much bitterness? You couldn't just walk away and say 'it's not for me'? You feel the need to come here and pick us apart for the choice that we made and are happy with? Not one person on this board has been disrespectful to you or your employer or your choice to stay where you're happy. Might we ask for the same courtesy of you?
