try RF parts for you flat braid they have it in all sizes and gauges and different make up from aluminum to copper i would stick with the copper clad and a bout 1/2 inch or larger if you can get it. I used allot of the 1/4 inch on my doors and and stacks and the 1/2 inch on body to frame and the 1 1/2 inch on the motor to frame all in all on my 1996 freightliner i had about 100 ft of ground braid on it but it made a quite radio.
