I have 3 radios. A Connex 3400HP, Galaxy 44 and a Cobra 29 Classic LTD. The Connex is giving me another problem, the Galaxy is a good radio, but you can't beat a Cobra. Best radios ever made.

Yes I did. I regrettably sold it this fall thinking I needed bigger and better, turns out I will be ordering another just like it sometime in February. That little competition Cobra and the SK-65DX mic are an awesome combination.

I am no cb expert, but, my advise would be to buy a radio from a local (if possible) reputable shop. I think most of these internet hack jobs just take your money, then have your order drop shipped. They don't put their hands on it, and will not stand behind it if it is a POS. I personally don't like spending good money on something only to have to deal with the manufacturer if something is wrong. Just look at the disclaimer you have to agree to when you go to that cb shops website. Bigmouth cb shop is the worst. That guy is a total hack, probably selling stuff online from his mom's basement.

Spax, Doug at CustomCB is definitely not a hack. I have bought SEVERAL radios from him and they all were exactly what I wanted and performed as he said they would. I understand what you are saying and you do have a valid point ....just not here. He did mess up one time on a 12' piece of coax. (did not fully soldier one of the four holes in a 259 connector)Sent me a new 12' section with new connectors and would not accept a dime.

    jessejamesdallas Thanks this.
