    There was a group on 3.814 in NJ that were quite rude as well, they could get down right nasty if anybody dared complain about the language etc..

    Imagine that someone from NJ being rude and obnoxious.. :smt108

    For every time I heard a CB rambo on air, is a time I wished I had (with me) a radio signal finder.....just so I could detect what truck the CB rambo was transmitting from, then announce over the air where he was. Then sit back and see if he shuts up, puts up or leaves. One things for sure I'll bet he won't open his mouth if he dares to set foot in the truck stop.

    A word of advice, if you're ever traveling thru Missouri on I-70 at the 28 mile marker, there's 2 big truck stops (T/A and Petro) and there's almost always a CB rambo at one of those 2 truck stops. If you care not to hear it, turn your radio off. Otherwise if you want a real gut busting laugh, leave it on.

    There was a Swift driver one night going across I-70 in Utah that was playing his stereo over the radio....Guy would say things to him when he unkeyed his mike and he'd just tell them to F....Off.

    I was right behind him...So I said "Hey Swift, I'm right behind you, If you key it up again I'll follow you till you stop and then you'll be walking around with a microphone stickin' outa your ###!"

    He didn't make another sound and when I passed him he was lookin' straight ahead with the "scared punk" look on his face!

    I have been called out more then once. Wasn't afraid at all. I remember sitting in North Platt one evening, some guy was going off on the radio. I asked him to stop and he told me to F off and he would kick my back side. I flipped on my hazzards and told him which row I was in and would have my flashers on and waiting in front of the truck for him. I got out and stood infront of the truck and waited. guy never showed.

    Heh, I remember the time I was traveling in NC just past the Pilot Mountain northbound on I-52. It was July 2010. Mile marker 115 I believe. Some hot shot had 19 tied up going on about nothing. I keyed up and I believe I asked him to quit. Then this clown keys up and wants to know where I am at because he wants to kick my ###. I pulled over to get something and told him where I was. He keys back up and even more angry than before, maybe from frustration of not being able to find me? I decide to toy with this idiot for a bit longer. I kept asking him every few minutes "so I'm waiting for you to show yourself". Man if this guy's blood pressure didn't spike up. If there was a such thing as "radio rage", this fool exemplified it. He was screaming at me thru his mic like a drill sergeant does his boot camp trainees. He clearly had no intention of doing anything but he sure made it sound as if he were. Maybe this rambo is reading this post realizing I am talking about him and it's pissing him off even more.

    Yup, I agree w/all of the above.

    My wife & I were on the radio (me in my truck, her in her car) and I had the little ankle-biter with me. I was cutting up & another driver said, "why don't you shut the fudge up?"

    I said, "well, if it were 2am and you were tired, you'd be thankful I was cutting up because it'd be keeping you awake."

    Then came the threats of butt kickings from said driver. I called him on his BS & he kept on. I said, to my wife, "hey Babydoll, you hear that? Sounds just like a friggin' JB Hunt driver."

    Nothing but silence... :biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559::biggrin_2559:
