I like things I can drive my truck over without crushing and things that can get rained on without saturating the contents.

BLUE ALPHA GEAR HYBRID EDC BELT
And
CCOMFORTSLINGS Duty Suspenders
Don’t know you’re wearing them. All day. I’ve loaded the 5.11 TacLite trousers with more than 7-lbs gear. Climb up down and under rail cars. (Over UnderArmour tee shirt and under square tailed 5.11 shirt).
Knee pads and elbow pads slip in. Wash & Dry in 40”.
You won’t want your money back. Looks better, wears longer and launders better. FROGG TOGG rainsuit fits over and together it’s not bulky and can be worn 12-hours.
Cotton is for super truckers.
M1951 US Army Cold Weather Wet & Dry Set (research). Literally can’t find stuff this good today. All full cut. Can fit over 5.11s as necessary or a fleece Union Suit.
A Wiggys Bag is next. Maybe his boots.

HAIX Bootstore
Slowmover1 Thanks this. -
So I’ve been told several times about that brand as well as the model. Thx.
I’ve tried to tell guys about quality X3 in rotation (a Red Wing Store owner told me), but guys are just dumb today. Wear the same pair daily and in six months go back to Wally. I’ve got Red Wings that are past twenty years.
With WIGGYS it is in his insulation. Called Lamilite .
Used in most products. Worth reading around on his integrity and products.
Claims a wide range in temperature. That the boots can be worn into higher temps than I believe. And the “insulated” boots I’ve had weren’t impressive (have read him and then understood). Still, I need a pair.
My feet get hot pretty quickly. Going into and out of cold has me wearing shoes better for warm than cold.
The “belt & suspenders” approach (to me) is that wide temp variance capability. Not just the advantage of boots in general for wet & cold.
One pair will do me as a truck driver. If I really was on my feet all day it’d be to custom (Whites, etc). Those are why RL gets grumpy. His customs pinch (ha!).
