I have a 2005 630 and just discover some major rust holes on the floor after pulling out the rubber flooring. I been having problems with rainwater leaking into cab for some time. Any clues on where the water could be coming in? I suspect it is coming from somewhere in the front of the cab since I don’t have any roof window on the cab. It is frustrating since most of rest the cab is rust free except the floorboard rust holes. I want to fix the water leak first before patching those rust holes. Both left and right sides floor next to the shifter are very rusty under the rubber flooring.

Some moisture will always enter with you, also some do not roll the windows down at all and the moisture will build up naturally from temp changes. Then it gets stuck under the rubber mats to grow mold and rust your bucket.

I know on some trucks there is a weep hole in the windshield gasket that if not aligned properly will allow water into the cab. Then at the roofline, my ProStar leaked like a sieve until I got up there with a few tubes of silicone calk. Where the roof is attached to the actual cab body. Also around the sun visor where it attaches at the cab roof. Also, pull the kick panels off and see if you can spot where it is coming from, the "A" pillar area or off the firewall somewhere, there should be streak or water stains.
That is where I would start.
And make sure it is not getting anywhere near any of your electronics/fuse panels. Bad things happen.KB3MMX and poniikyanion Thank this.
