Large carriers where waiting for years to get the driver, where they wanted them. In 08 it happened, drivers pay went down, have them pay for this and that. And we,ll tell them we have to,have all the cut backs so we can operate and you still have a job with us.We promise we,ll bring the pay, back and all the other stuff, when things get better.haha In the present time, the large carriers are having record profits. How many drivers are having record profits ?

Yeah mgfg, it,s in print in the trucker paper,1 co. jb hunt record 3rd quarter net earnings 68.7 million versus 52.2 same quarter last year,jb just had the best 3rd quarter of the history of the co., but there drivers make 15k less a year and chicago terminal can,t supply a towel for a shower. Then you have schneider with there big cut backs since 08,there office higher ups have mansions, larger than the mvp of the nfl , but there drivers are hounded for going over 6% idle, loose there quarterly bonus for 3% over 60mph, ridiculus-spelled wrong oh well.

Am I late to this party? I think we should Outlaw HHG.

Good luck though, You can't get two truck drivers to agree on the cost of a free cup of coffee.[/QUOTE]
You are wrong....they both agree that the coffee is the wrong price...(here is where it falls apart)....but one figures it is too expensive and the other figures it is too cheap.....guess that in the end you were right

Would you agree that HHG is no different from theft? (I'm referring to the 5% of disappearing miles, not the 95% that we get paid for running.) -
I think you will find it is more than 5 %.
-
My miles were off around 3% for December and January. That is, my miles were 3% short of practical miles. Maybe (and this is only an estimate) 6% off of hub miles.
You did agree that it is theft, though. Right?
