Not sure if you read correctly, but I was saying for $25 more, meaning room would cost $50-55.
I used to get 3 star hotels on Priceline for $40+fees, about $52-55 total...not in every city of course. 3 star would be Courtyard Marriott, Holiday Inn or similar. Not sure about truck parking though.
If you don't believe me I can show receipts.
RAM 3500 vs 5500. What is the biggest difference?

I used to drive a 5500 and here is one load that we pulled with it.
Way to make a pickup look small. The tanks are fiberglass and only weigh a total of 14k. But the point is that when I was loading I was talking with a guy that had a single axle tractor. He used to run a 5500 and knows of others that have been using 450 and 550 for this same work. He stated that they got one year max out of these pickups. It did not matter who made the truck.
Pickups are made to pull the occasional load and not heavy loads day in and day out like a tractor is. Yes it is more expensive to repair a tractor but you will not be replacing an engine or transmission within a year. I have seen lots of wedge haulers that have also had to replace rear ends due to the wear and tear on them.
Oh and that 5500, it got 6-7 mpg loaded to 40-43k and 10 empty.... Hmmmm really close to the same thing a single axle tractor would get.Lite bug Thanks this. -
