I thought about Sun Country and still considering it. It seems like a better trailer, but I think this GN400 would be good enough to start. I'm considering startup costs, insurance, weight, maintenance, etc. Also how easy it is to use. I'm not gonna start with 7 or 9 car, but GN400 seems like a better option compared to wedge design.
RAM 3500 vs 5500. What is the biggest difference?

Infinity brakes $1500 and plan on replacing around every 10 months or so.
(Insert air ride/air brake trailer here) $800 and will last 3 years or so.
22.5 tires cost twice what 16" tires cost but will last 3 times as long and tire problems will be a rare occurrence.
Oh can't forget the electric/Hydraulic brake actuator that took a crap on me one week out on the road. That was $900
Yup when you consider true cost per mile to operate air ride trailer wins every timeKANSAS TRANSIT and cnsper Thank this. -
Is Infinity still in business? I have never bought anything from them but I remember there being quite a few complaints about them after the sale? Again, this is NOT first hand knowledge.

so i'm gonna take a wild guess here & assume, by what's mostly the vibe of this thread, all of the duallys pictured on infinity website attached to their 5 & 6 car trailers must be owned by complete idiots that are all out of business ??? ... along with the ones pictured with the 4 cars on sun country's website? or would they be smart owners/drivers that more than likely drive no more than 150 miles or so per delivery? hey i'm seriously asking here, just due to my observation !?

I own a tow truck busines and we use dodge 5500s for the most part with a few big boy frieghtliners for the heavys where you guys are getting a top speed of 75mph is beyond me the 5500s easily hit over 100mph so good that I had to govern the speed to 90mph on all my trucks so employees dont have full top speed power I have had dozens of 5500s all have lasted me over 250k miles with minimal maintence no blown motors no blown turbos few transmissions which were covered under warranty and only because of certain drivers beating the trucks so where you guys are getting you information from is beyond me 5500s 6500s great work horses so great o have stuck by dodge for 20 years

Well considering the truck I sometimes drive is a 4th gen 5500 Ram and its wound out to around 2300 to do about 68 mph that 100 mph sounds like a stretch. That poor engine has got to be screaming at over 3,000 RPM to see triple digits.
