Rand McNally ELD 50 questions

Yes it should link to the RM tablets according to what I have read so far. It says most newer Android devices as well.
I will be testing it with a Samsung Galaxy tablet and might see if it will connect to my Garmin GPS that has bluetooth and E-log built into it, so not sure that the Garmin will work.

Waiting on a load so I can hit a Loves and pick one up...On sale for 140 right now.
Online they are around 175..

In the mean time I'm enjoying my vacation day off!...

 

The app should install fine on my Samsung tablet....It is free in the google app store.
I would rather have it on my tablet instead of my Android phone.

I can use the phone as a wifi hotspot and email logs to the office......At least I hope it will work that way.
From what I have read the app puts your logs in PDF files so that should work out fine.
It also has a web portal for PC.

 

Looks like it may be a few days before I get the RM unit....No load for tomorrow but get another paid day off.
