Not a Rand McNally... But I can say I hate PC Miller...lol A few years ago when I was doing a team thing... The PC Miller routed us to the canada border... and wow that was interesting and a pain in the ###... we were treated like criminals there! anyway... PC Miller sucks...lol

During my brief stint as a cabbie, I found that on my Tom Tom, I couldn't enter alphanumeric addresses (like 17w350 W. Lake Street, Addison IL.--look it up, I had a pick up there) but don't know if it's that kind of trouble you're having, so I'll ask--Does the RM GPS accept these kinds of addresses?

ETA: The "at this address" part of Google is BS...and the street view isn't that clear--it's a house, operating as a business: "XXXSororitygirls.com" :biggrin_2556: (you can just barely see the banner hanging from the fascia)

Naw, just pick up on one of the employees...Not even that hot IMO. However, because there's no house number, I had to go *inside* to confirm the addy, and the blonde who came out (in bustier & panties) was pretty hot.

She's actually on the "girls" page of their website, (2nd row, #3) but don't think I can post that here...:mcool:

Oh, and I got stiffed on the tip... :mhissyfit:

Quicker does not = better. As with anything, practice makes perfect.

Yep, that GPS will get him into trouble a lot faster than the atlas will.

Sorry but your SO sounds like my last co-driver. He would get completely befuddled when the exact address wouldn't come up. Then, by the time we got to where we were going, he would forget that it wasn't taking us to the exact address. He would never even look at the local directions. He got us into some bad spots with that stupid GPS. I was tempted to toss it out the window while he was sleeping, but I knew he'd just buy another one...LOL

I agree. Don't get me wrong he knows how to trip plan using an atlas, but he chooses to use the GPS. It has not let him down yet. The key is updates. All GPS need updates from time to time. Just like your smart phones.

Yes there are alot of underpasses in Chicago. Do you go to the same WH or receiver all the time? I drive the city just about everyday. There are alot of streets that you are good on and the ht. signs are pretty accurate. Let me know if I can help.

We get 5-10 drivers a week pull into our WH lot and ask is this 2885 w. Diehl rd ? our answer is no it isn't, their reply is well my gps says I am here. I only use it for certain things such as double checking an adress etc... Try to do it the old tried and true way.
