Rand McNally Support Thread. (Part 3)

Hi,

I was looking to clear files from an SD card but accidentally deleted the files from my TND 730. I realized what I had done and was hoping they would be in the trash bin but no luck. Unplugged the 730 hoping I could do a factory reset but I got the 'missing file system' error. Would you happen to have a copy of these files on hand?

That is probably the root of my problem. For some reason I was thinking I'd need the SD even though it hasn't needed one.

I don't mean to trivialize, but is the replacement of these files more or less copy and paste back to the Rand? I'm fairly computer savvy but I'm not going to pretend to know how these TNDs work.

I'd shoot you a conversation but I think I'm too green.

I don't know if I am in a proper thred, but I will give it a try.
I have been using RM products quite a while now, my first 530 didn't like the beer what I spilled on it, the second didn't like swimming in water either.
Now I have a TND 80B, this one doesn't like me.. I bought it off a friend who just kept it in a box, used it once or twice. It has been working fine for me for over a month. Started to like the thing.
Since Saturday, it won't turn on. Displays the RM logo at the begining ant that's it..
Tried all know reset modes, but always with the same results.
What should I do with it? I don't want to send this one too, to a handsome garbage can.
