    i am really sorry that Rand McNally has no ability to help its users.
    Please try this 'fix' 730 for this group's active users only, and let me know if helps.
    for sure, you can always go back the old way using its dock software.

    My TND 80 tablet screen keeps saying the map database is over 1 year old and to visit the RM website. I thought this tablet was suppose to update automatically via wifi. Anyone know what the latest map is?

    Anyone having an issue where the overdrive 7 pro doesnt get gps signal when you d remove it from the dock. And when I put it back on the dock I have to connect it to my wifi hotspot for a second for it to reconnect to the docks gps antenna...

    530 now show current time as 2 hours short. one hour is this business from the incorrect date stamp.

    I think the 530 and 730 problems are forced obsolescence. meaning they WONT repair as needed to frustrate us as problems build so we buy new.

    not a phone of the android based models.

    Navigating the forums ain't so easy on my SG9+, so sorry if I missed something or post this in the wrong place. Long story short, after RM fixed my tndt80b dashcam & returned my device last year, the embedded serial number is incorrect. Therefore, I cannot register the device to get updates. No clue how to resolve this.
    Build currently shows 20171227

    well I'm not the brightest chicken light on the truck, but I do know enough to not blindly download an .exe file to my computer from an unknown source without some independent confirmation its safe. That you have a problem with that says something to me.

    well said. btw, an winCE's .exe (all TND) will not run on any windows PCs, your computer is protected by Microsoft OS design.
