It's fairly annoying, especially when a previously planned stop goes awry. It's not so bad in Texas, but it's terrible in WV or PA.

Can someone help me with my issue with my road explorer 5. It keeps giving me the wrong time and I don't know what to do.

you can save a planned trip into a trips folder,
    reuse it later

I think Rand McNally must be getting out of the GPS business. It's hard to see how they could expect anyone to buy another RM product after this. A GPS that can't tell time!

The worst part of this fiasco is that it is only a software problem. All they have to do is fix the code and push out an update. I guess their previous customers don't matter to them.

I plug my 730 in and it powers up to some date in 2099. I then unplug it without turning it off, and let it die on its own, screen turns white when when it runs out of power. I then plug it back in and when it powers up it usually has the correct date. Sometimes I have to do it a couple of times. After it gets the correct date I will leave it on all week.

Tired of calling Rand support and getting no answer. Rand has lost me as a customer, I just got a Garmin 780.
