Too late…thankfully I returned it and got my money back, and I knew about the avoid issue. Nevertheless, I still had all the issues and that thing was a load of crap. Anyway, I’m just happy that I didn’t get stuck with it but I feel for those that did. In addition, I can’t believe you guys are releasing the TND 700 already when you guys still haven’t fixed the TND 500 yet. Not to mention that my cheap $60 solution works 10 times better than your high dollar $500 solution and takes far less time, plus I can actually zoom in and see detail.

Well sounds like you got a bad unit or something. I had mine several months now with hardly any problems. Have drove in Boston and NYC and always kept me to truck routes and never under a low bridge. Remember no gps is perfect and Garmin,Cobra,etc... will have these same problems. Good luck with the laptop program but i will stick with my TND500 for its features and constant updates and tech. support and convenience and portability.

    American-Trucker Thanks this.

You're going to have all kinds of problems using streets & trips on your laptop, now that FMCSA has banned all forms of texting, and FMCSA lists using a laptop computer, even for routing, as texting. Good luck to you.:biggrin_2552:

Completely new to this forum stuff, forgive me if I am not doing it correct! I am on the east coast and am interested in buying the IntelliRoute® TND™ 700. Does anyone know when this is available or if it is already, where I could purchase it on the east coast?

Bigpeter I answered you on another thread but no problem, here you go:

The TND700 is out and I have seen it on the east coast. Try a TA. They carry them now

Amazon, Ebay, I am thinking of making a few offers to see what I can get.

Be careful buying off of Ebay with GPS systems ... most of the manufacturers will NOT honor the warranty.

Amazon themselves are accepting Pre-Orders, however there is an Amazon seller that has them in stock, ready to ship ... at the same price as Amazon themselves, with FREE shipping.

anyone know of who may have the better price for the 700? Every place I check are all at $499. Surely, there has got to be a better price on these things.
