No I would not do that same price as in a Pilot or Flying J. Just need to find it in stock.
-
So, if that is the one you have your eye on, the best way to get the lowest price is to look for "extras" like no sales tax, free shipping, expanded tech support, free goodies, etc. -
If you get off of E-Bay, Rand has no idea if it has not been obtained legally.
Now some authorized dealers do work off of E-Bay and those would be covered.
Thanks,

Good morning. I will be posting soon my first month personal review of the TND700. I'm pretty happy with it. Got a couple of minor complaints. Mark perhaps they're things that you can bring up to Rand and can easily be corrected.

Ok here it goes... I've had the TND700 for a month now and here is what I think of it so far.
The pros:
1. Love the 7inch HD screen. Easy to view and love the fact that you can zoom in on spots by just pressing on the screen.
2. Voice is clear and easy to understand. Volume level is great
3. Love the timers and logs feature... easy to keep track of your hours, miles, and average speed. Plus how many miles you run in each state.
4. Excellent at getting you right to the docks at the address...
5. Excellent coverage of Canada... this is greatly appreciated since we run Canada quite a bit
6. Quickly recalculates a new route when it senses you are going a different way and plus it's nice to to be able to select a route that is fastest or shortest
7. Updating it is very easy... really appreciate the road construction warnings
8. POI base is excellent! Restaurants, Hospitals, etc...
The negatives, Mark hope you can help
1. Have found that it on occasion says an address does not exist. Have told Rand McNally about this and I don't even get a reply from them. Plus it still shows the truck speed limit in Illinois is 55.
2. Have noticed a couple of times that it falls behind... in other words, as you pass an exit, the gps still shows you approaching it. Have counted up to a 20 second lag time... not good if in the city approaching your turn.
3. Has on rare occasion warned me that I am on a restricted road which it isn't Example... the ring road, which is a bypass around Regina, Saskatchewan. As I traveled it the other day to get to a receiver it flashed that it was restricted and I couldn't clear the bridges... not one bridge was under 14'8 clearance. It actually cancelled the routing and would not route me again to the receiver... kind of annoying.
Other than that, I am impressed with this unit.
