So am now thinking about RM. Heard they now also have free traffic updates, but also heard they fall off the magnet mount a lot.

Have they come up with a fix for the weak magnet mount? Or are we really living in a world where there's no such thing as as decent truck GPS?

My Rand McNally 740 tablet holder broke in 3 months. even we never removed from dash since got this unit.
so we got simple tablet holder and holding on that. It s works perfectly, because that box comes with unit is speaker for radio if u wanted to hookup.

I have the RM 730 mounted low in the center of the windshield with the bottom edge resting on the dash. It's never come loose on me and is very stable. As others have mentioned, the power cords are junk, but otherwise it's a great unit.
