I asked this in the rm thread and I really don't want to have to call these folks. Here's the deal. I have a 740. I won another 740 in a raffle, so I want to let my wife have the older one for her car. I act too get my address book and poi from it to the new one. RM tech support mentioned using the dock software, but I don't have a computer at home. I replied back asking if I could use the SD card slot to transfer data. I was told yes.
I was thinking it would simply be a matter of plugging in the card selecting the saved data and going from there. The device recognizes the card but there is nothing in setting gs that I can see for copying to the card. Has anyone transferred their data from an old unit to a new one?

Ha. I am sure there is a simple way without having to call them and wait on hold to talk with someone. Sd cards I thought used to be easy. When I did have a computer, I could plug one in, it wound pop up as another drive, then it was simply a matter of drag and drop.
