I don't know how much power this thing pushes. I have stock twin antenna on my truck, but if I try the High setting, it just distorts. Low and off both work normally, with the low setting giving me the push I need when talking to another big radio in hilly terrain.
Here's a pic. It says East Coast on the side, but I can't find info for it online anywhere.
Just wondering what kind of watts it makes on the high and low settings.
Any info would be appreciated

IF you can read the AMPS it is drawing you casn figure the input AMPS * Volts = watts the output will be about 40% of that now many amps are class C and if you try and go to high ower they will distrort ...Smaggs Thanks this.

oh... novel idea. I'll grab my voltmeter next time I'm home and check it out!

MUST have 2 transistors and run around 100 watts not a shabby gain from 4 watts

Yeah... my memory tells me this thing is 25-50 watts on low and 100-200 on high, but it's been years and I can't find any information at all about East Coast Amplifiers online... sigh.

The whole reason I want to know the wattage is just for kicks and so I can match my antennae on my truck to my power source.
I know my SWR is good, but I don't have a power meter capable of reaching high wattage. I may also stop by a reputable CB shop and ask them.
