Central seems to be getting better, at least in my part of the world. Estes on the other hand is slipping.
Lumper Humper Thanks this. -
From what I’m seeing out here in Idaho central is running new trucks and nice new trailers.
-
I'm biased but I'd probably go
1. Standard Forwarding
2. AAA Cooper
3. Estes
4. D'oh RN (lol auto spell,)
5. Central -
Best LTL equipment?

I'll throw Old Dominion's hat in the ring. All our linehaul trucks are newer than 2023, got a nice mix of FL, KW and now plenty of Internationals, though plenty of guys hate them.
Our Memphis terminal just got some new 2026 KWs, lucky ducks. -
How about the pups and dollies?
-
As much as I detest Saia, at least their trailers always look good.
But it appears they have the Old Dominion issue of not wanting to allow you to slide trailer axles. -
That would be an extra cost and require someone to maintain.
