@G13Tomcat. @Bob Dobalina @Mike2633 and any of you other Ohio guys but esp G13 since you yank tanks right? (I do too but but mine is dry bulk)Know where the husky refinery is in Lima off exit 125, well anyways for whatever reason or another they put an exploratory gas well inside the refinery, like in the center of that maze of a plawellGThe company we have a contract with won the bid to cement the well. Was just there today for my1stmytime998 mile round trip. Sitting at the ta in lodi now. Slew of problems. Abs going nuts, bearing fried along with a set of lumpy tires to go with it. Could smell the bearing, hub hot to the touch. I get blessed with this trailer only on 800+ mi trips. Would of been a personal record 1k miles in 26 hours if this didn't happen. Extra special line in oilfield logbooks. I can freeze my 14 and 70. Thank you mr Rockefeller.

Reminds me yes linehaul pays good but i can't do that 600mi day in and out. Most weeks i hardly break 800 or so. And just found out we can keep running loose leaf paper come 1st of the yr. Drive away tow away clause. Not that we run super outlaw all the time but the oilfield is just a different beast.

Anyways just bored rambling i cant sleep in this 32in coffin. 5.7mpg and 50.3mph so far on almost 700 miles with that isx screaming at 1750 at 59mph lol. Keeps dpf issues away too, not gear em to cruise at 1200, hint hint anyone buying newer equipment

Gate 7 to be more specific. If you see Schlumberger trucks with marcellus energy services signs on the door good chance its me. Drove 1.2 miles to the rig. Small one most of the structures there are taller than this precision drilling sputter rig.

I wont be there too many times. They already did 13 3/8 in surface casing. Next is called an intermediate 9 5/8 and then a 5.5in thats called a long string or production cuz thats the part that will later be frac'd.

The cement blend from horseheads yard is special in that it can flex. Lead and chicken feathers is apparently how.

Yea they put lead in the ground that surely is healthy now

 

I didn't realize ohio was flat lol. 1st time I've been to a rig not on top of some steep 15 percent grade off rt7 along the river. Oh 255 comes to mind or 800 513 379

 

Not all of Ohio is flat. I'd say most of Ohio south of 70 isn't too flat. But especially south east Ohio. I covered down there the other day. Driving up and down grades along curves felt like I was back in the mountains.

 

We stay in newcomerstown off exit 64 or 65 on I77. Schlumberger's yard is in strasburg of exit 87. That whole area is like a 2nd home to me now. Most of our work is off 77 70 us 22 and 250. Nothing but hills, id get bored being in flatland all the time

 

You're smack in the middle of my Ohio stomping grounds. Worked Chesapeake wells while I was out there. We had 2 disposals off US-36, one in Newcomerstown and one in Coshocton. The Speedway/Wendys right off the exit used to be our lunch stop, sometimes you'd see a dozen water bottles in there.

 

Yea we stay at super 8. Its pretty busy now servicing 14 rigs. Horseheads only has like 4. Few months ago they were all right by each other off 492 out by jackson and Thompson. Hated going out there dot loves to sit right under the highway in new milford

 

There are 14 rigs running in that corner of OH? You're killing me! I regret leaving the industry, and if I did not have a family to think about, I'd be right back in it.
