Yeah it's all labeled. My philosophy is if I put it away it goes where I want it to go. My buddy at Sysco says he'll stuff the freezer then cooler then whatever left goes outside. He won't stuff racks. Gotta love union jobs.

Followed 2 construction TTs on the way to work the other day. Front one was fine, but the one behind him hit every part of the road. the shoulders are pretty wide in the offramp area we were in and he managed to go almost fully over the white line. Not to mention its a twisty stretch. I was doing 70ish before the twisty area and they were pulling away (which was more than fine with me)

But that was a waggin tail for sure

Hi guys big day today past two weeks I've been working truck load and today I had a big one.

Load pick up heavy load at a warehouse in Buffalo,NY.
Got to slide my tandems and everything.
Haven't ever slid my tandems before. This back haul is from a major cereal producer. My company and this particular warehouse have a strained relationship from what I gather.
This place is trigger happy for rejecting trailers and they like to reject our trailers and they have before and it's a big pain.

However I had a nice clean trailer and it went smooth as pie.

Sliding the tandems back and then up again especially up again was kind of a pain, but after 10 minutes of jacking around, I figured it out and was on my way.

misterG and MACK E-6 Thank this.

I've been feeling guilty the last couple of days about my Volvo dislike. Last night all of my favorite trucks were gone, so I decided to grab a Volvo and give it another chance.

There are very few things that I can honestly say I hate. Spiders, the BMV, and now Volvo trucks.

No leg room, even with the seat all the way back. No, that's not exactly true. There was plenty of leg room when my feet were flat on the floor, but the clutch pedal was positioned so high that every time I needed it I banged my knee on the dash. Stubby little arm rests that offered no support. I couldn't get the steering wheel to an angle that suited me, and every time I put my clipboard on the wheel to write something, I blew the air horn. Give me a break.

The creature comforts were decent and the interior seemed to be a little higher quality than what I'm used to, but the fit and finish just wasnt enough. I was completely uncomfortable for my first run. Luckily it was a short relay, about 200 mi. When I got back to the barn, I couldn't bail on that POS fast enough. Say all the bad things you want about the Crapcadias, but it's all about what you're used to. I grabbed a FL for my second run to Ft Wayne, and my night immediately improved.

Y'all can keep your fancypants Volvos. I'm a simple man, and I'm not proud. I'm not ashamed to admit I prefer our Shakers hands down. I'll take out a million mile Columbia before I'll get into a brand new Volvo again.

    misterG and Mike2633 Thank this.

This is the first company I worked for that has air release for tandem sliding. I hate the handle ones. These are SO easy to slide tandems. We have to slide our tandems up every night so we can maneuver 48's in these parking lots. You can't bust a U in a Taco Bell parking lot with tandems to the rear no way. I never thought a 48 could fit in these places or even can bust a U in a small parking lot. Why a lot of these drivers compete for the truck rodeo. Of course a lot curb rolling and driving on sidewalks happen. Then at the end of the day I slide the tandems back to the rear yard requires it.

Did you have to shorten your wheelbase to get into that place?

    Mike2633 Thanks this.
