Random LTL Rants (all are welcomed)

Got to the hotel super early last night because of no rain and no traffic. Fell asleep too early and now I'm up. I have a feeling tonight is going to be a very tired night lol.

 

If you ever see a fat food service guy here's why.

 

Us Foods gets all the mom and pop goodness. We had acouple big guys at McLane when I worked there. They got big cause they continued to eat big on days off. All we got was Taco Bell, Pizza Hut, occasionally some Buffalo Wild Wings.

 

So I think someone got in a accident or something and they shuffled us all around and I only worked 8 hours and 10 minutes. Never done that before.

This is me now after a 8 hour day lol

 

Averitt just called. When I decided to go out driving again I put my info out there to all the local ltl companies. Averitt just called and XPO called like last week. I applied MONTHS ago! Why bother calling now? Lol got a job and I'm happy.

 

...looks like I'm getting a raise, I'm told.

Neat.

But I don't believe anything until it's on my paycheck. Lol

 

Lol i applied to Averitt when I only had 6 months experience. They offered $1200/wk to do OTR....

 

For six months in, that's quite an opportunity. Not bad at all.

 

Yea i guess but at the time I was trying to get out of OTR and I was making little bit more than that.

 

OTR is rough. And if you were already making more than that, that's not as good of an opportunity. Lol
