Random LTL Rants (all are welcomed)

Gonna buy another motorcycle so that's my motivation lol.

 

Lemme start this with I know I'm kind of (really) being a baby.
Here we go...
The warehouse is so short staffed tonight that I am pulling and building orders with a pallet jack, then staging them so I can load the trailer my self, then jumping in the yard dog and swapping trailers out when it's full lol. Holy #### this is what I get for saying "Sure I'll work a 6th day" this has 17 hour day written all over it.
The only thing that is keeping me going at this point is $$$$$$$$$ lol

 

Except for those dang Kelley trailers. Some of those seem to be backwards, but at least that’s easy to remember.

 

Just learned a unfun fact. We have a building about a hour and a half away that we load trailers for here because they don't have a dock. Some of the guys have to get in the truck there and drive down here to get their trailer to go deliver.....f that lol. I guess if you look at it as you're getting paid the whole time anyway it's not terrible but sitting in traffic bobtail knowing there is a full trailer waiting for you in a hour and a half would burn me up.

 

I don't count the redheaded stepchild. I'm pretending those don't exist. I close my eyes and plug my ears and say "we don't have swing doors we don't have swing doors we don't have swing doors!"

 

speaking of which, driving to work (in car) the other day i'm coming up on this van trailer and it's got one white door and one black door

no wait, there's no door

no wait, there's a door it's just black

no no, there are the hinges, no door on that side.

oppppsssssssssss

 

10-hour day.

-yawn-

Too long for me. Lol

Headed home for the weekend. Yay.

 

Oh boy. You need to do a little digging in your area. I think you'd be surprised.

 

I got talked into a sixth day......15 hours......never again lol.

 

I hope that was at time and a half.
