Yup, rt 77. Been under that bridge a bunch of time in a four wheeler going to the moto-x store near by. Its like on the bqe (278) in nyc. A sign claims 12'2", all trucks exit onto atlantic ave but a 13'6" fits just fine.

New York City seeks GPS input from truckers
The New York City Department of Transportation is asking truckers what type of GPS they use in an attempt to provide accurate routing information to the technology providers. NYCDOT reached out to truckers on Thursday via the social media site Twitter. -
One time I was headed to Red Hook and I came upon a 12'8 bridge in a 13'6 reefer. I stopped dead right there and was on the running board looking when a local came blowing by me in the same set-up. A lot of the bridges back east are measured from hub up, if I am not mistaken. Still, I absolutely hate moving freight back east. Good thing my dispatcher and I were good friends. Never had to go back to NYC.

There is a bridge in SC off I-85 at exit 34 (cant remember the HWY#) but there is a bridge that is 13' even and you can get under it loaded....it sure scared me the first time I tried it though

why cant the federal government mandate that all bridges must be accurately marked?
they can mandate everything under the sun for working folks, but states can get away with nonsensical procedures that cost lives and property damageStudebaker Hawk Thanks this. -
well over 14 by the looks of it as I creeped up to it in morning traffic
and the oncoming school bus driver gave me a thumbs up and
motioned me on through. Then around the next blind curve and the
railroad bridge that looked WAY too low marked 12'8 with a sign right
on the bridge that said 'actual 13'8 ' We won't even get into what it took to get back into that warehouse at the very back and end of a one lane residential area. Good run, multiple stops with pay, but if I ever go back there again it will be too soon. Even though now I know I WILL fit under them lol -
In Winnipeg we have at least two low bridges on marked truck routes in town. I believe both are 3.9m which is about 12'7". They're right in the middle of the city, with inadequate warning. There's also no posted detour. They get hit all the time.

Chicago has the most low viaducts, over 1,900 or 2,200 don,t have the map in front of me, right now. The low via duct map is for sale and is real handy. Say you have a pm rush hour delivery, you don,t have to sit in grid lock on I-55 or the dan ryan. Just look at your low via duct map and plan your way in, the map has every street in Chicago listed on it, unlike other maps.
