I trained in an FLD crew cab like this. My old company has a bunch of em, still probably. I've never seen any others except this one I just found on Google.
Freightliner FLD Crew Cab Tractor (3-11)AModelCat and Oldironfan Thank this. -
Thanks! This truck used to be light blue, after TRL was purchased by Prime, the truck was sold and repainted. That little badge you see below the driver window says "Custom Built for TRL Driver Training.
That's what it said under the captions with the photo of the truck.
I've never seen a tractor like that before.86scotty, Oldironfan and Badmon Thank this. -
Marmon, back in the day,aka Mexican Mack. Made in Garland Texas. Very popular in some areas of the country back then. Used to be lots in Pa.,had a strong dealer network there.
Oldironfan Thanks this. -
When I was driving in the mid 90's I would see a Marmon about once a week and an AutoCar maybe once a month. Always dreamed of owning either one.
Rideandrepair and Oldironfan Thank this. -
Can you still get parts for Marmon trucks?
I wonder if you can get parts for these trucks.. I really like the look of this truck because when I first saw it for the very first time I couldn't figure out what the hell it was. It kind of looks like a Freightliner but a little different...
