On current time I am a Burris Logistics Driver. Burris lost contract with The Fresh Market. The Burris has another contract with the BJ's, I am thinking may be drive O/O, and Burris terminal at Elkton, MD, from my home 25 m. So this is local delivery, to NY 150 m. to NC 455 m. to OH 500 m. For NY run they pay to O/O $700 + $200 Fuel Surcharge + $175 for pickup backhaul.
The Burris require O/O insurance $2 million liability, it is too expensive so I am not sure yet.

Even $750 is lowballing. it doesn't matter it is a year round work or not. truck needs to reach an decent level of revenue so we can make money.
I would never accept anything under $900 for that.Road Killer and ramblingman Thank this. -
He said within a 100 mile radius which to me means multiple runs adding up to 300 miles roughly which IMO is even worseRoad Killer, ChicagoJohn, ramblingman and 1 other person Thank this.

$150 per hour all on duty hours.
Road Killer and Ruthless Thank this. -
By the way, what kind of dimensions and weight are you talking about.

300 miles around Chicago area makes for a very long day
Road Killer, DUNE-T and ChicagoJohn Thank this. -
We are talking about trucking here, not brain surgery. You are about as replaceable as a plastic straw. I might nit know everything but I know enough to not pay $3 per mile for a commodity serviceRoad Killer Thanks this.

Then do it in-house. I personally don't know anyone who will haul 150 mile loads for $2.00/mile.
It's very simple @St Regis you asked a question, we answered the question and now you're basically telling us we're not worth anything and that were unskilled labor. So, with that in mind, you can go #### yourself. -
So do it yourself.
Road Killer, ramblingman and Steinbrenner Thank this. -
Actually I said I was looking to pay $2 per mile on 300 miles or about $600 per day. So that's $4 per loaded mile.Road Killer Thanks this.
