Flats might be dropping, because of the season change, but vans are up again vs June-July.
Ford, restarting production couple weeks ago, gave a huge boost to the market. In my home Detroit area DAT load volume is 3 times higher than it was couple of months ago

Well he's not too far off. The dude that does my taxes manages a 70 million dollar portfolio. He was thinking 2nd quarter calamity.

Calamity started, and the fed printed money quickly.

I don't know if our economy will ever be the same as it was before China Joe got in. It may be too interwoven now.

If it does stay somewhat the same, if the country isn't permanently damaged / destroyed before next November...........then there is definitely going to be the mega Calamity, perhaps culminating in WW III.

That the first thing you need to say! Flatbed rates. Van and refer are the same or better.

    Lol, me neither!
Just booked $9,700 for the next 6 days..

Watched a fantastic SC to OR load just sit untouched all week for $7k.. light easy run!

Meanwhile people fighting over $1 per mile FL to CA.

The only thing I’m seeing is pure stupidity out there.

I'm not exactly running around for cheap. For very long time everything $4+ a mile. Had a few $6 a mile 500-600 mile runs lately and not to junk markets.
Things just becoming harder to pull off and volume going down.

Not to long ago I did $9500 from SC to Socal.
Load sat on the board all day.
Also did a memphis to Salt Lake City for $8000.
Even got $6000 back to Ohio from Salt Lake.

Lately I dont see or get offered anything like that anymore so am running shorter loads to keep rate per mile up.

Overall slowing down but not saying I'm running around for cheap.

I'm shocked so many people remember what I posted a month + ago

BTW a few others posted here noticing a slow down. Just saying
